Application in the Machine:

• Create uniform pressure for sewing (Sealing)

The main function of this unit is to apply precise mechanical pressure to the foil layers. At this stage, the formed foil (PVC) containing the tablet passes through these rollers together with the aluminum foil. The pressure of these rollers causes the adhesive layer (Lacquer) on the aluminum foil to completely weld to the PVC body due to the heat of the previous station, making the packaging hermetic.

• Foil guidance and tension (Web Tensioning)

This assembly also plays the role of a forwarder due to its connection to the drive system (by the same toothed pulley). These rollers rotate at a specific linear speed to guide the foil through the sealing station without creating wrinkles or excessive stretching and to the cooling and punching station.

• Adjusting the thickness and packaging pitch

Depending on the thickness of the foils used (e.g. 20 micron or 25 micron aluminum), the distance between these rollers is adjusted by the adjustment screws you see on the top of the block. This ensures that the pressure is not so high that the foil tears and not so low that the packaging leaks.
