Latin Name: Closure Shaft or Dosator Piston

Material: 316L stainless steel with ultra-high polish or Chrome Plating to reduce friction.

Station: Dosing & Filling Station

Application in the machine: Blocking the end of the dosator and creating negative/positive pressure for powder pick-up and discharge.

Technical Specification: This shaft fits exactly inside the dosator (previous part). Its function in the filling station is as follows:

Suction and withdrawal phase: When the dosator is lowered into the powder container, this shaft moves slightly upwards to create space for the powder to enter.

Powder bite protection: While the dosator moves from the powder container to the segments, this shaft holds the powder in place to prevent it from shaking and spilling.

Discharge: At the moment the dosator is placed above the segment ring, this shaft moves rapidly downwards and shoots the powder into the capsule body.
